“Cinema On Paper” is a strikingly lush and vivid art book all the more enticing for its subject matter – the movies. Beyond the captivating art, each poster is joined with a pithy conspectus of its significance, some wonderfully droll. One notes the sultry image of Isa Miranda’s tongue heading for Ray Milland on 1939’s “Hotel Imperial” poster is “invigorating”. Indeed. So is the entire book.
